What do yall think i should do? im confused. What is he doing?

i liked this guy alot and he broke my heart. We stop talkin, even as friends. He talked to other girls and i talked to other guys. Then we started talkin again as friends and we hungout and i started likin him again, but i thought we would probably never be together so i told him i didnt want to be his friend, because thats the only way i could get over him. He said o so your just gunna stop talking to me? He said he doesnt want that to happen, because he likes hanging out with me, and he said i could tell him anything. Well if he didnt want me to stop talkin to him or stop being his friend how come he never talks to me at school he talks to every other girl and i talk to every other guy. We just stare at each other, we dont talk unless we hangout or on the computer, and i just feel like he doesnt care if were friends or not, but he said he really doesnt want to stop being my friend. He said he would probably see me as more than a friend if we could hangout, but i been punished.
