Help with scholarship essay questions!!!!!?

im applying for the same scholarship as you and im having some trouble answering the questions too. but for the friend one i wrote about my best friend, i wrote about how strong minded she is and how i am more open minded and open to change and stuff like that. but im having tons of problems with the describing my family and noting unique elements about them question so if you have any tips that would be amazingggggg
