PA disorderly conduct summary offense -- am I screwed out of a teaching profession?

I would avoid pleading guilty simply because a conviction will go on record and like you said... some schools may choose NOT to hire you. I know that in the State of Texas, something 15 yrs old will still show up on background checks. So becareful, and if nothing else... turn around and sue the Security Company who employs the Officers who refused to help.
